Apollo Gold Extending the Boundaries of His Music and Making Waves Early

New artists emerge from time to time and make a lasting impression from the onset. Such is the case with artist Apollo Gold, who has been making waves early and solidifying a spot for himself in the music industry with every new release or performance. Now, he’s more than ready to show the world what else he has to offer.

Apollo, also known as “The God of Music,” is an artist who thrives in bringing various genres together and creating tracks that sound fresh and unique. His style mixes various influences, including Cloud Rap, Psychedelic Rock, Punk, Grunge, and Smooth Jazz. Born on August 3, 2000, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the artist would later move with his family to New York City, where he would grow up. Later, the artist would move to Miami, Florida, where he discovered a love for music.

The musical artist started by listening to Michael Jackson and A$AP Rocky. As he grew up, his influences would grow. Apollo Gold started networking and collaborating with local artists, inspired by the growing underground rap scene with acts such as Denzel Curry, Ski Mask the SlumpGod, and XXXTentaction. With time, his skill kept improving. At some point, he decided that he was going to work towards a full-time musical career. Apollo began his music career as a professional DJ, playing for various crowds across the Miami party scene. He invested in studio equipment every time that he could and started to build his own home studio.

Later on, Apollo started to learn sound engineering and produced a full-length record from scratch. His first singles started hitting the market in 2020, with tracks like “LV” and “Underworld” coming out on various streaming platforms and helping Apollo Gold grow his music influence. Apollo Gold continued recording new music and released other tracks, including “Dennis Rodman,” “007,” “Flames Off Rip,” and many others.

On October 22, 2021, Apollo Gold released his first album entitled Nighttime Blues. It contains seven tracks and features collaborations with other emerging artists such as Texas-based rapper Iazye and Deezer. The record takes listeners through a journey of the highs and lows of life as told through the perspective of Apollo.

“This album is a way of capturing a time and stage of life through a soundscape that will live on forever,” Apollo Gold explains further.

Apollo Gold has also been known to create music videos out of his travels as an avid and frequent traveler. The most recent production he mounted was a film for his single “LV,” which he filmed in Las Vegas, Nevada. The trip was for his 21st birthday celebration and included all the highlights of that trip. Apollo has also shot music videos in Brooklyn, Chicago, and Cancun that will be releasing at the end of this year.

Driven by pure love for music, Apollo Gold is determined to turn his passion into a profession. It’s not the money or fame that draws the artist. Instead, it’s the communities he gets to build and the stories he gets to tell that bring the most reward. Watch out for more songs and content from Apollo Gold in the coming days. Learn more about the artist and listen to his music by checking him out on Spotify and YouTube.
