2K Ponce Juno Sets Himself Apart In a Saturated Rap Industry by Being True to Himself and the Music Within His Soul

The music industry has seen a lot of growth throughout the years. The rap industry has become saturated to the point that originality and innovation have become a lost art. Fortunately, 2K Ponce Juno is creating a fresh, innovative take on the hip-hop genre through his music. His songs have a positive reggae vibe that makes his audience stand up and take notice.

2K Ponce Juno is famously known for his 2019 smash hit, “Go Pretty Girl,” which had a remixed version released in the United States this January 15th. The track prominently featured dancehall DJ King Beenie Man and the sultry stylings of Jamaican princess Double K. The single has performed extremely well on US soil, mimicking its massive success in the major Jamaican media markets.

The budding rap artist has also been known for his amazing fashion sense. 2k Ponce Juno has captivated a huge audience through his clothing choices, which has now become one of the huge parts of his emerging brand. He is currently represented by Sony Music Group and High Performance Worldwide. He also just recently had his professional journey featured in a 2016 documentary.

The documentary cited 2K Ponce Juno’s real-life experiences down to the nitty-gritty details. He credited his sister for introducing him to hip-hop and reggae, to which he even recalled that his family had participated in the colorful West Indian tradition of Carnival. “Music is in my blood,” says 2K as he explains that his father and brother were also major influences in his music career, who each played multiple instruments.

In 2011, 2K Ponce Juno saw a massive opportunity with artist Seven as they kickstarted the New York-based urban music label Ellipse Group Records. Later, the company was reformed to become Ellipse Group Records LLC, releasing 2K’s album Chicken Grease and Grits a year later. The upstart company also released Coolli Bandz after a year, which became 2K’s next EP.

Before the global pandemic ravaged the world, 2K Ponce Juno joined the Sony/Orchard and Mo Thug family’s America’s “Most Blunted Tour.” His participation in the famous tour allowed new fans to latch onto his singles such as “This Life,” “Spent Ova 100$,” and “Go Pretty Girl. His music had a lot of fans grooving and a lot of hearts racing with his slick and catchy beats. “Music is like a rollercoaster. It can take you up, it can take you down, music is good for the soul,” says 2K.

Above all else, 2K Ponce Juno is a massive dreamer and innovator. He is constantly looking for new ways to excel in his craft and motivate each and every member of his team to strive for greatness. He lives an entirely separate lifestyle from most of the mainstream artists these days, and much of his unique music speaks of who he truly is as an artist.

In the foreseeable future, 2k Ponce Juno envisions himself producing other rising artists and making them stars. He will help them reach their highest musical potential, guiding them towards creating hit records under Ellipse Group Records LLC/ Sony Music Group. Much of that dream is already coming true, and it’s only a matter of time before it is fully realized into fruition.“I want them to gain ambition to follow their dreams, gain motivation to work for it, and I want them to be inspired at the fact that because I was able to do it, they can too,” explains the artist.
