Areu Bros Studios Executive Vice President Jaime Peralta Puts the Spotlight on Latino and Minority Talents

Being influential is one thing but using that influence to change lives is another. Film and television executive, Jaime Peralta, understands the struggles of becoming successful in the entertainment industry, and he is playing his part in making budding talents’ dreams come true.

The talented actor and musician, and talent manager who serves as the executive vice president for development at Areu Bros Studios, formerly known as Tyler Perry Studios, has expressed his desire to promote Latino and minority talents to success. With his position, he plans to invest in Latino-themed content, artists and creators and give them massive publicity to put their names on the entertainment world map. His two decades of experience in the film industry have taught him everything he needs to succeed with his plans.

Jaime Peralta’s vision is aided by Areu Bros Studios being the first Latino-owned and operated film and television studio in Atlanta, Georgia. So, he is confident that his plan rollout, once finalized, will settle in nicely at home. Working as an actor, musician, crew member, producer and executive producer has given Jaime a balanced view of the creative process of any entertainment project. With films like “Champions” (1997), “The Big Lebowski” (1998), “Carnival of Souls” (1999), “Sorority Boys” (2002), “Tri Wes Mortgage” (2005), “Grey’s Anatomy: Under Pressure” (2006), “Hotel California” (2008), and “What Just Happened” (2008) in his filmography, Jaime needs no introduction to the world of entertainment. He has also worked as an executive producer on the TV series Undercover (2016) and Road 2 Remembrance (2021) and as a pre-production co-producer for Addicted to You.

As proof of his undeniable commitment to seeing talents thrive, he is the current manager of musician A.B. Quintanilla III, the older brother of singer Selena, also known as The Queen of Tejano Music. At the time he landed his job at Areu Bros Studios, Jaime was a stay-at-home dad putting his best foot forward and doing his part to advance people’s careers in the entertainment world. Now that he has the chance, he is ready to go full-throttle into his self-assigned mission.

“I am committed to promoting Latinos and other minority talents. I get these requests all the time from people looking to be represented by a huge company. Many of these talents truly deserve that representation, but they may not get the chance they deserve if no one is doing it. So, while I create an inspirational journey for myself, I want to take many others along with me too. Success is not monopolistic, so if I can do it, you can do it too. We can all win together,” Jaime said.

From working as a personal executive assistant with the late legendary film producer and president of Paramount Pictures, Mr. Robert Evans, to becoming a top executive, Jaime Peralta is living his dreams. His goal for the next few years is to help other people live their dreams, too and give them the opportunities they need to thrive.
