As the world of technology continues to expand at an unprecedented pace, many individuals are left feeling lost in the whirlwind of innovation and change. However, for Temante Leary, this chaos only fuels his drive to create a more inclusive and equitable future. Through his groundbreaking work with BITE-CON, he is breaking down barriers and empowering underrepresented groups such as the Black and Latino communities.

This past April, BITE-CON celebrated its second event at Miami Dade College – North Campus, boasting an impressive turnout with dozens of participants and panels of speakers from across the nation. As the conference has ended this year, the excitement is palpable, with expectations of an even larger gathering comprising students and seasoned professionals alike for the next event.

“I created BITE-CON to engage the Black and Brown community around Web3,” says Temante. “I know how life-changing a career in technology can be for anyone who wants it. With technology advancing at such a rapid pace, it’s imperative that those from underrepresented communities keep up with the technology trends that will define how we ultimately live and work.”

Temante’s passion for technology and drive to make it more accessible to all shine through in every aspect of BITE-CON. The conference is the only event that specifically engages the Black and Brown community during Miami Tech Month, and it’s designed to make sure everyone has access to the latest technology trends.

“We had a Miami Tech Works Village with technology companies and booths set up for them to engage with the community and attendees about opportunities and answer questions. There were also resume reviews and mentorship workshops offered for those interested in working in technology!” says Temante.

Beyond simply showcasing the latest advancements in technology, BITE-CON seeks to foster a sense of camaraderie and interconnectedness among its participants. Visionaries from industry titans like Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, Google, and Dell Technologies, as well as innovative Web 3 entrepreneurs, took the stage to share their insights and experiences. Moreover, the conference delivered immersive experiences that are truly unparalleled and gave an unforgettable event for all who attended.

Temante’s relentless commitment to advancing technology and fostering a tight-knit community is making waves. In fact, BITE-CON has been making headlines on NBC 6 South Florida and Refresh Miami, garnering well-deserved attention. With the increasing number of alliances and joint ventures within the local community and beyond, BITE-CON is rapidly becoming the go-to event for the Black and Brown community during Miami Tech Month, poised to claim the title of the ultimate technology conference.

In a world where technology continues to evolve at breakneck speed, it’s essential to stay on top of the latest trends and developments. BITE-CON offers a unique opportunity for Black and Latino communities to come together and explore the cutting edge of Web 3 and emerging technologies. From the immersive experiences to the educational panels, attendees will gain valuable insights and knowledge that can help them excel in their careers. So don’t miss this chance to be part of the future – join BITE-CON next year and discover what lies ahead.
