CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – June 20, 2026 – While Miami has long been recognized as one of the world’s premier destinations for swimwear fashion, Brazilian Fashion Week USA – SWIM & Resort Boston demonstrated that resort fashion can thrive in multiple cities, fostering collaboration throughout the fashion industry rather than competition.
Founded in 2012 at Boston’s historic Taj Boston Hotel on the city’s famed Newbury Street, Brazilian Fashion Week USA has grown into an international platform celebrating Brazilian fashion, culture, and design while connecting designers, businesses, and creative professionals throughout the Americas.

Produced by acclaimed designer Conrad Lamour, the June 20 showcase transformed Monteverdi, located at 40 Edwin H. Land Blvd., Cambridge, MA 02142, into a celebration of international fashion, culture, and sophistication. Lamour also presented the evening’s featured collection, bringing together emerging and established designers, industry leaders, influencers, members of the media, and fashion enthusiasts for an unforgettable runway experience.
Guests were welcomed to Monteverdi’s elegant waterfront setting, where its upscale patio overlooking the Charles River Yacht Club and Boston’s iconic Charles River provided a spectacular backdrop for the resort-inspired showcase. The sophisticated venue perfectly complemented an evening dedicated to swimwear, contemporary resort fashion, and Brazilian-inspired creativity while highlighting Boston’s growing influence as a destination for fashion, culture, and innovation.

The highlight of the evening was Conrad Lamour’s striking collection, inspired by the vibrant beauty and biodiversity of the Amazon rainforest. Models graced the runway in bold swimwear featuring vivid neon yellows, lush greens, brilliant oranges, and an array of tropical hues celebrating Brazil’s natural landscape. Lamour also presented his signature impeccably tailored women’s suits, blending refined craftsmanship with powerful feminine silhouettes. The show opened with a dramatic couture presentation featuring a crystal-embellished signature gown paired with a Roman Centurion-inspired crest helmet adorned with a vibrant red plume, worn by Dorie McNamara. The theatrical entrance immediately captivated the audience and set the tone for the evening.
Keeping the energy high throughout the night, internationally acclaimed DJ J Styles delivered an electrifying soundtrack that blended multiple genres into a seamless musical experience, enhancing every runway presentation with sophistication and excitement.
Beyond the runway, the event became a premier networking experience, attracting designers, models, business executives, film producers, Brazilian attorneys, entrepreneurs, socialites, students, and influential members of the fashion community. The evening welcomed not only members of Brazil’s elite but also many of Boston’s VIPs, creating meaningful connections between fashion, business, entertainment, and culture. The distinguished audience included high-net-worth individuals and longtime supporters of Conrad Lamour and Brazilian Fashion Week USA, reinforcing the event’s growing international reputation.
The showcase also reflected Boston En Vogue’s commitment to cultivating emerging talent, expanding educational opportunities, promoting cultural exchange, and strengthening the fashion industry through mentorship, strategic partnerships, and community engagement.
“Our vision has always been bigger than producing a fashion show,” said producer and designer Conrad Lamour. “We’re building relationships between cities, cultures, designers, and industries. Boston and Miami each bring something unique to the fashion world, and by connecting them through Brazilian Fashion Week USA, we’re creating new opportunities for creativity, business, and international collaboration.”
Rather than positioning Boston and Miami as rivals, Brazilian Fashion Week USA is building a bridge between two dynamic fashion capitals. According to the organization, the future of fashion lies in collaboration, connecting designers, buyers, media, investors, brands, and consumers across cities that celebrate creativity and innovation.
Following the success of SWIM & Resort Boston, Brazilian Fashion Week USA has announced its return to Miami in 2027, bringing its signature swimwear and resort platform back to one of the world’s premier fashion destinations while further strengthening the connection between Boston, Brazil, and Miami.
As Brazilian Fashion Week USA continues to expand, it is redefining what a fashion week can be: an international platform where fashion, culture, business, education, and community converge to create lasting global connections across the Americas.
Looking ahead, Boston En Vogue has announced that casting for its Fall 2026 runway season will begin in August. Models will have the opportunity to audition for both Boston Fashion Week and Brazilian Fashion Week USA – Boston, two of New England’s premier fashion events, as the organization continues to showcase emerging and established talent while strengthening Boston’s position as an international fashion destination.
