Chef Raymond Li, a Miami native celebrated for his avant-garde approach to Modern Asian Cuisine, has announced an exciting new partnership with Chefbites (Julien Mus & Edouard Campos – Founders), aiming to revolutionize the fast food delivery service market. Born and raised in Miami, Chef Raymond Li’s multicultural heritage—Chinese, Colombian, and Cuban—has profoundly influenced his culinary style, blending diverse flavors with precision and creativity. After graduating from Le Cordon Bleu in 2015, Chef Li honed his skills in some of Miami’s prestigious kitchens, including The Ritz Carlton, Zuma, and Matador Room by Jean-Georges at The Edition Hotel under Chef Jeremy Ford. His career reached new heights in 2017 when he staged a season at the renowned three-Michelin-starred restaurant Benu in San Francisco with Chef Corey Lee and later worked at the two-Michelin-starred L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon in Paris.

Returning to Miami in late 2017, Chef Li played a pivotal role in shaping the culinary landscapes of One Door East and Valentinos in Ft. Lauderdale. His tenure at Palmar, a small Chinese restaurant in Wynwood, marked a significant milestone. Within months of joining as a Sous Chef, he was appointed Executive Chef, leading Palmar to be named one of Bon Appétit’s 50 Best New Restaurants in the US. In his first year as an Executive Chef, he earned a prestigious four-star rating from the Miami Herald.

Chef Li’s journey continued as he became an R&D/Corporate Chef for El Cielo Hospitality Group, contributing to the launch of El Cielo DC, which later received its first Michelin star. In 2020, just before the COVID-19 pandemic, he departed from El Cielo to focus on his family business, Li’s Dim Sum. Born out of adversity, Li’s Dim Sum began as a home-based venture offering traditional and modern handmade dumplings, siu mai, and noodles. The concept quickly gained popularity, leading to a temporary pop-up restaurant in Coral Gables.

Between 2021 and 2023, Chef Li was instrumental in structuring the kitchens of Kaori Miami, the latter earning the OpenTable Diners’ Choice award in 2022. His consulting expertise extended to international projects, including Noa Sushi+Robata in Barranquilla, Colombia.

Chef Li’s partnership with Chefbites marks a significant step in his career, as he lends his expertise to develop a revolutionary food delivery service.
