Reflecting on her beginnings, she recalls, “When I worked in TV, I was able to explore several of my talents, from creating comedy characters, writing sketches, scripting my notes, and editing my content on social media. Practically, I have produced and written the segments that were seen during my time on TV and are currently seen on my social media platforms.” Gaby achieved all this through her initiative, without any formal training. This self-driven approach honed her skills and laid the foundation for her successful brand collaborations, inspiring and bringing joy to her audience.
Challenges are an inevitable part of any journey, and Gaby has faced her share with remarkable resilience. “I have been a woman who has worked since I was young to help my family. Becoming one of the main pillars of my family has been a challenge filled with many trials and obstacles,” she shares. Growing up, Gaby witnessed her mother’s relentless efforts to provide for the family, a struggle compounded by caring for a sister with a disability. This instilled in her a profound sense of responsibility and determination. “There have been times when I felt like I couldn’t do it, but there is always an opportunity or an idea that I put into action, leading me to grow professionally.”

She emphasizes, “Never stop believing in the power of your dreams because the day comes when they come true, and the reward for doing things well comes. Not everything is perfect; I make mistakes, but I have learned from them and gained strength and courage to not give up when there is an obstacle.” Her journey is a beacon of hope and encouragement for women and girls in Guatemala, showing that overcoming adversity is possible with determination and faith.
Motivation is crucial for persevering through challenges, and for Gaby, family is the core of her strength. “My greatest motivation is my family. My mother has been my inspiration; she has always worked to give me and my sisters the best,” she explains. Gaby’s marriage also provides significant support, helping her navigate both tough trials and rewarding moments. This deep connection to her loved ones fuels her drive to grow in every aspect of her life.
Gaby’s success on the international stage, marked by awards such as Latina Influencer of the Year at the E! People’s Choice Awards and Central American Influencer of the Year at the Monitor Music Awards, is a source of immense pride and inspiration. She reflects, “I believe that trust in oneself and our dreams can lead us to great things. Since I was a child, I have always dreamed of winning an international award, but I also knew that I had to work for it.” Her leap

Balancing a successful career, personal life, and role as a role model is no easy feat, but Gaby manages it with grace. “My balance is my family. I have always been a very grateful person, and reminding myself of my beginnings and being thankful for every opportunity helps me maintain balance in everything,” she says. Gaby shares a poignant memory, “When I wanted to pursue more job opportunities, I had to become economically independent since I wasn’t doing well at that time. However, my priority has always been my family. I didn’t have a vehicle to go to auditions, so I decided to move in with a friend. Starting from scratch without a job and without any contacts was scary, but I never lost faith in God and in myself.” Her journey from these humble beginnings to becoming a prominent figure in media is a powerful reminder of what can be achieved through faith, hard work, and resilience.
