Multi-Awarded Musician BaShir Hogue to Release His Much-Anticipated Third Album

Undeniably, talent is essential to make it far in the music scene. Almost all of the artists that are currently dominating the space boast a skill — or two — that has allowed them to capture the interest of listeners and gain a following. However, while one’s talent can definitely propel a person toward the forefront of the music industry, it is not enough to survive and thrive in this highly competitive industry. To grow into a powerhouse, BaShir Hogue proves that it takes hard work, time, and a certain degree of trust in oneself.

Best known as a two-time Gospel Image Award winner, BaShir Hogue is a singer and songwriter whose journey started in Philadelphia at the age of five. Blessed with a versatile and soulful voice, this multi-talented personality began performing professionally when he was ten years old. Over the years, he has worked with many famous Gospel recording artists, including Kim Burrell, Karen Clark-Sheard, Maurette Brown Clark, Rev. Daryl Coley, Andrea Bocelli at the Apollo Theater, Kim Allen Sledge from the famed group; The Sledge Sisters, Tramaine Hawkins, Orlando Wright from BET’s Sunday’s Best Television Show, Bishop Paul S. Morton, Ian Khalif, and Tia Pittman. 

In 2002, BaShir Hogue dropped his first album titled “Everyday.” This top-notch compilation, featured on London Music Live, sold out during its first week on multiple digital platforms and record stores. Years later, he reached greater heights with the release of his long-awaited second album, “PATIENCE,” live at Bethel Deliverance International Church in 2005. This widely-acclaimed project was then studio produced by G.O. The Producers and introduced to the public in 2014. 

From the get-go, the multifaceted figure wielded the power of music to connect with listeners worldwide, doing so in ways that highlighted his talents and potential to evolve into a powerhouse one day. Currently, BaShir Hogue is preparing for his third project, “Love Factor: Songs of Solomon Modern Days,” to come out, and it is expected to push BaShir Hogue toward the limelight and earn him more recognition. 

Achieving numerous career milestones during the course of his career, BaShir Hogue has performed at the National Convention for President Bill Clinton in Cleveland, Ohio, written for Kelly Price and graced the stage with Allen P., DSI Productions, and other national producers. Demonstrating that he has more up his sleeves to offer, BaShir Hogue delved, as well, into the TV industry, becoming the host of his own talk show, The Culture, on Catch the Fire Network. Through this program, he touched base and interviewed many well-known artists as well as Grammy and Emmy Award winners, entrepreneurs, and CEOs. 

This rising star, who served as a lead singer and praise and worship leader at Deliverance Evangelistic Church, is driven to share a variety of musical styles that come hand in hand with life-changing lyrical messages of praise and worship, hope and love.
