Science&Humans (S&H), the trailblazing digital platform devoted to empowering individuals through hormone health treatments, is embarking on an inspiring initiative in the month of October, coinciding with Menopause Awareness Month. This campaign aims to shed light on the millions of women in North America whose lives are profoundly impacted by the transformative stage of menopause, and it endeavors to extend the conversation around this critical issue.

Throughout this month, S&H is unveiling a unique and captivating project known as “Jump for Menopause.” In this exciting venture, daring individuals will take to the skies and descend at various dropzones across North America, carrying a profound message that menopause is far from being a pause in a woman’s life. Instead, it can be an empowering chapter filled with life and new opportunities once the stigmas surrounding it are shattered, and open discussions about its symptoms and experiences are fostered. Furthermore, this initiative encourages women to explore various treatment options and find the support they need.

Hira Siddiqui, Co-Founder and COO of S&H, passionately states, “Women spend approximately one-third of their lives navigating the unique challenges of menopause—a journey often shrouded in taboo and silence. As a millennial, I’m keenly aware that my generation is on the brink of this milestone, facing a glaring lack of preparedness and a cloud of misinformation. Our mission is clear: to offer unwavering support and empower women, ensuring they not only endure but thrive during this decade-long journey, guided by evidence-based solutions.”

Leading the charge for “Jump for Menopause” is Skydive Spaceland Clewiston in Florida, where co-owners Lisa and Rick Hornsby are thrilled to provide hands-on assistance to lift this campaign off the ground. The initiative extends to other locations such as Sebastian, Florida, and Niagara Falls and Toronto, Ontario, with even more destinations on the horizon. The expert skydiving teams at each “drop” will be led by Chris Serrano, an award-winning creative director and skydiving athlete based in Florida.

In a remarkable gesture of support for women’s health, S&H has selected Women’s Health Collective Canada (WHCC) as the recipient of all donations generated by this campaign, sourced from both corporate sponsorships and individual contributions. The outpouring of support from individuals who have pledged their assistance has already made a significant impact on the campaign’s reach and potential to make a difference.

For those interested in showing support for “Jump for Menopause” on social media, the official campaign hashtags include: #jumpformenopause, #menopauseawarenessmonth, #science&humans, #menopause, #menopausesupport, #menopausehealth, #womenshealth, and #hormonehealth.

Menopause is a natural phase in a woman’s life, but it often comes with various challenges. These challenges can range from hot flashes and mood swings to potential long-term health implications. Thus, it is crucial for women to be well-informed and supported during this transitional period. The “Jump for Menopause” campaign serves as a beacon of awareness, shedding light on the importance of prioritizing women’s health during menopause.

The campaign is also a testament to the power of collective action. It highlights how individuals, organizations, and communities can come together to address critical health issues and raise funds for organizations that are dedicated to improving the lives of women undergoing this significant life transition. With this initiative, Science&Humans demonstrates that it’s possible to turn an ordinary skydive into an extraordinary means of advocating for women’s health.

As we look forward to the rest of Menopause Awareness Month, let us continue to support the “Jump for Menopause” campaign and encourage open conversations about menopause, its challenges, and the ways in which we can support the women in our lives through this significant journey. Together, we can help women not just endure but thrive during this transformative phase of life.
