Sharon Champagne Terry: The Embodiment of a Renaissance Woman and the Never-Ending Hustle

The modern world is filled with remarkable individuals who thrive in specific fields, but some strive to expand their success in other ventures. Among the latter is Sharon Champagne Terry, a renaissance woman whose creativity has branched from business to entertainment. 

Born and raised in Rochester, New York, Sharon Champagne Terry has molded herself to become a modern-day renaissance woman, building several careers as an author, screenwriter, actress, motivational speaker, executive producer, entrepreneur, and model. The embodiment of the never-ending hustle, Champagne is a strongly driven individual who stops at nothing to achieve excellence. With a keen eye for opportunities, her creativity follows her with each new venture.

Champagne’s endeavor as a writer has earned praise from readers and critics alike. Her releases include urban fiction titles like The Goddess of Lust, Love, & Infatuation Part 1, Blissful Lust Part 2, and anthologies, Dark Memories and The Crossover. Recognized for her work, Champagne received nomination twice for Author of the Year in the Roc Awards and Top Female Author of 2019 in the Author Academy Awards. Highly accomplished, the author decided to launch her own company called Champagne Books.

The multifaceted renaissance woman would also have her hand in modeling. A published print and runway model under Hass Entertainment, Champagne has graced the runway and stages of several high-profile fashion shows, including The Night of Elegance, The Summit, and New York City’s Fashion Week. She would also appear on several major radio shows, collaborating with personalities like Seleah Simone and Nikki Rich, and taking part in interviews for The DJ Gatsby Show, The Beautiful Butterfly Radio program, Vibration Radio, Good Deeds Radio, On the Rise Radio, Highly Unique Radio, Face the Reality Radio, The Authors Show, African Online Broadcasting, and the Situation Room, to name a few. 

Sherry Champagne Terry would later bring her writing skills to entertainment. However, her career would shift from screenwriting to acting, appearing in the comedy I’ll Drink to That by Unc Trent, where she played the role of Vanessa. She later appeared in Living the Dream and the web series, In Between Jobs. Recently, Champagne has taken on a new television project called The Goddess, where she serves as the executive producer and wrote the pilot. The Goddess is set to air on MJOWN Network on Roku this fall. Since then, she has included screenwriting classes with Champagne Books. Additionally, Champagne has joined Coach John Screenwriting Academy as a trainer, imparting her knowledge to aspiring writers.

Regardless of her endeavors, Sharon Champagne Terry always strives to bring out her creativity to create a lasting impact on the industries. With her focus on the entertainment industry at the moment, Champagne is working to build her legacy.
