Locate elderly family members with a new mobile emergency alert device.

SOS Anywhere, a new technological company designed in personal emergency response systems for seniors, today announced the release of its new SOS Anywhere mobile medical alert system. The revolutionary new band is a wearable medical alert device that can summon help at the press of a button.

Unlike a traditional medical alert system, the SOS Band uses GPS, elevation, and cell tower services to locate the user’s location and notifies their selected emergency contacts by text, notification, and the company’s mobile app. The SOS Band is the smallest, compact wearable compared to other bulky competitors. It features a shockproof, water resistant casing (even salt water), and has a 10-year battery life.

“Today’s older Americans live very active lifestyles,” said Jaron Carter, President of SOS Anywhere. “They want 24/7 protection everywhere they go without the need of a phone or an at home system. The SOS Band gives them that peace of mind no matter where they are at.”

Not Your Grandmother’s Panic Button

Unlike traditional medical alert systems that only work inside the home, the new SOS Band is accessible to the user anywhere they go in the world. The SOS Band works on cruise ships, in low service areas, and is able to send a distress signal in over 213 countries.

The SOS Anywhere Band is designed for younger, active seniors who still work or travel. The super small .88-ounce silicone band combines GPS location services and a modern look with shock and waterproof casing. The system alerts help at the press of the button, providing the exact GPS location of the user to dispatch a neighbor or family member.

Cost of a Coffee

With around 52.2 million people in the United State over the age of 65 and the average annual income being less than $25,605, it can get expensive to afford anything outside your basic needs.

“With seeing the industry as is and knowing some companies are taking advantage of our older population” said Jaron. “It is time to offer a solution that is affordable and reliable for years to come.”

The SOS Anywhere Band emergency alert band is only $3 a month with a one-time band fee of $97. Compared to other emergency alert bands, SOS Anywhere is the most affordable for those looking for peace of mind without breaking the bank.  Ordering information available at www.SOSAnywhere.com.
