Miami Art Week is no stranger to glamour and creativity. Still, this year, Swagger Magazine, one of North America’s leading luxury lifestyle publications for modern men, set a new standard with its exclusive Creators Gala. Held on December 5, 2024, at the breathtaking 1 Ocean South in Miami Beach’s South Pointe district, the event seamlessly blended art, style, and luxury, becoming one of the talked-about evenings of the week.
Jimmy Akingbola and Cindy Prado Shine as Co-Hosts
The star-studded affair was co-hosted by actor Jimmy Akingbola, known for his acclaimed role as Geoffrey in Bel-Air, and Miami-based influencer and fitness personality Cindy Prado, who boasts a loyal following of over three million. Both are set to appear on the cover of Swagger Magazine in early 2025.
Akingbola, attending Art Basel for the first time, shared his excitement about the event:
“My first Art Basel experience has been stunning—an incredible mix of art, culture, and innovation. To end my first night with such an elegant event, celebrating excellence and luxury with Swagger Magazine, was perfect. Narine’s art was stunning, and so was the artist. I couldn’t have asked for a lovely co-host than the effervescent Cindy Prado. Altogether, an unforgettable experience.”

At the heart of the evening was Narine Arekelian’s “Metamorphosis of Aphrodite Stone,” an immersive art exhibit exploring themes of transformation and beauty. The installation, made possible by TaskRabbit’s skilled Taskers, captivated guests with its rich visual storytelling and innovative design. Arekelian’s work perfectly complemented the gala’s celebration of creativity and luxury.
Signature Cocktails and Exquisite Culinary Delights
Luxury sponsors added flair to the evening, crafting signature cocktails that wowed the crowd. Authentico Organic Tequila debuted the bold “Swagger Margarita” and the refreshing “Cindy Prado Paloma,” while Hendrick’s Gin presented elevated classics like Cucumber Lemonade and Collins Avenue. Sommsatio Wines offered an elegant selection of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, while Peroni Nastro Azzurro delighted beer enthusiasts with its premium lager and non-alcoholic options. Guests looking for a modern twist enjoyed Freshie Organic Tequila Seltzer, and Voss Water ensured everyone stayed hydrated.
Gourmet appetizers prepared by top chefs paired with these drinks ensured no palate was left unsatisfied. The venue’s rooftop setting, with sweeping views of Miami Beach’s shimmering skyline, elevated the dining experience to new heights.

The Creators Gala was more than an art exhibit—it was a meeting ground for notable attendees and tastemakers. Among the distinguished guests were Miami Dolphins star Terron Armstead, emerging artist Deoca, and models Cloe Greco and Jaz Lario, who mingled under the night sky.
Entertainment was headlined by KUFF, a celebrated Ibiza-based DJ known for his fusion of Afro-House, Latin Tech, and Tech House beats. His high-energy set kept the dance floor alive well into the night, creating an electric atmosphere that perfectly matched the event’s luxury.
Giving Back to the Future
While the night was steeped in luxury, it also conveyed purpose. Swagger Magazine partnered with GettingAlong.com, an initiative to inspire the next generation of global leaders. The partnership highlighted the gala’s mission to merge creativity and community impact by supporting future educators and politicians.
