Lora Lee Michel was a pioneer of the country music genre. And along with her brother, Larry Lee Michel, made quite a name for themselves in the 1950s. Lora Lee started performing at age 12 and had several hits including “A Fallen Star” with Hank Thompson in 1957. Michel is describe as a white female with brown hair and green eyes, standing 5’1″ tall and weighing 120 pounds. The farmer had been out checking his crops when he saw a woman lying on the side of the road approximately 50 miles from his home. When he got closer, he realized that the woman was not breathing and called for help.

Law enforcement officials arrived at the scene and began to probe into Michel’s background. They were unable to find any identifying information on her or any clues as to her identity. They were also unable to determine how she had ended up stranded on the side of the road.

Michel was transport to a hospital in Oklahoma City where she was pronounce dead. At this point, investigators were still trying to determine her identity and determine if she had any connections to either Texas or Oklahoma.

Michel then moved to Dallas and started working as a stripper at a gentlemen’s club. After awhile she left the club and started working as a prostitute. In 2002 she was arrested for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. After spending 5 years in prison, Michel was released in 2007.

Since 2007 Michel has been living in various states including Florida, Louisiana, and Texas.
