“I feel that I create an impact on every city I pop up too, by bringing 40+ small businesses together under one venue working together bringing awareness to the small businesses that wanted to give up and did all they thought they could for their small business,” said the founder. “I bring the impact of chance not only to the community but for another way of doing things everybody is not social media-friendly,” LaShonda Johnson added.
Social media plays a massive part in Hustler Expo’s success as it brings awareness to the next pop-up shop event as well as the list of business owners who will be joining the caravan. By generating such a buzz in the digital space, the team is helping business owners showcase their products and services to a wide plethora of audiences. Vendors at Hustlers Expo are also entitled to ongoing promotions as part of its business awareness campaigns. Even after joining events, vendors’ photos and promotional materials remain on Hustler Expo’s website and across its social media pages.
Furthermore, Hustlers Expo understands that small business owners do not always have the essential start-up resources, credit line, or loan approval to open their own storefronts or office spaces. Hosting such pop-up events allows business owners to create temporary set-ups where they can showcase their talents, products, and services without requiring any more than one’s commitment and dedication.
LaShonda Johnson is previously recognized as Ask Shonda of askshonda.com, but today she is widely known as the powerhouse of Hustlers Expo. Like most of the vendors she is helping today, LaShonda was also an aspiring entrepreneur who wanted to create a hair company that would defy all odds. Despite the hard work she has invested into her company 360impressionz, LLC, LaShonda did not succeed.
“I’ve corrected a lot of my mistakes, and 360impressionz will be back bigger and better than ever. I’m not mad about failing because I really needed the lesson that came out of it. And the lesson was a mentor—find someone that has walked the path that you’re going down to help show you the way,” said LaShonda.
Besides being a successful business consultant, LaShonda is also a graphic designer, brand builder, credit repair specialist, and online and offline business start-up mentor. She is using her many qualifications to help the vendors of Hustlers Expo. Known as the ultimate hustler, LaShonda shared the motto that her team abides by: “Hustle hard like your life depends on it!”
